Our story.

Marvia was founded on November 6, 2007, by Steven van Wel, Jons Janssens and Arnoud Haverlag. Since our public beta launch in May 2008, we have made print as simple as 1-2-3 for over 5.109 of our customers.

Jons Janssens won the 2010 official Marvia Grand Prix Karting. Since October 2010 it has been 'All work, all play' from our canal view office in the city centre of Amsterdam.

  •  Jons is on the business side of technology. He is focused on marketing and building the Marvia brand. He is quite the news freak and stays in touch with current affairs. On his free time, he loves to travel the world.

  •  Jerrel has an innate feeling for sales and marketing. He has worked for different media companies, both dutch and internationally oriented. As such he worked with these companies to develop marketing strategies and achieve sales targets. Jerrel also has time for his girlfriend, their two kids and the honorable sport of fencing.

During the famous pitch session at the MediaPark Jaarcongres 2009 we won 1st price, when 3 successful VC's shouted; 'Marvia, a well-deserved winner'. Late 2010 Sprout added Marvia to their list of Top 50 Challengers 2010.
