Welcome to Marvia’s quarterly update on the most significant new features and updates in our platform. This time, we’ll discuss enhancements in the Template Studio, introduce the AI Auto Tagging in the DAM, and more.
Template Studio 💚
The Template Studio has received numerous exciting updates:
- Print Options
Print options can now be changed directly in the Template Studio, without making changes in InDesign and re-uploading it. Admins can adjust print presets and crop/bleed marks. Simplifying your life when correcting mistakes in InDesign or switching print suppliers.
- Self-Service
We have introduced self-service options for various features, empowering you to take control and customize as you please. This simplifies the process of making any necessary changes independently.
User DNA has been integrated into the Template Studio, streamlining the process of filling out your templates. Admins can now easily add the DNA to fields like name, email, and title, allowing users to effortlessly populate their information in the correct spots without the need for manual input.
Moreover, we have introduced a self-service option for QR code tagging. This allows admins to easily add and update variable QR codes, including the default URL, Location DNA, and locking user input.
A bonus feature that allows admins to "keep the original file", ensures placeholder images remain in the final document if no new image is uploaded by the user, making blank outputs a thing of the past.
DAM AI Auto-Tagging 🪄🖇️
An exciting addition to our platform is the introduction of AI auto-tagging in the DAM. Admins and users can now filter on auto-generated AI Tags for their assets. While you can still establish your own tags, AI Tags offer a faster method for adding additional tags to your assets.
Additionally, we have introduced AI color tagging capabilities that automatically generate tags based on the colors detected in your assets. Let the AI do the work for you, saving you time and effort in manually assigning tags.
Short Updates
- Bulk Edit
We’ve added a ‘bulk edit’ feature which allows users to make changes to multiple items at once. This feature extends to all overviews. No more, tediously, having to edit each individual product. This feature will definitely save you time.
- Collections
The flexibility of setting a collection's sorting order has been enhanced. Now, you can customize the view and sorting order on an element level, allowing for a variety of display options based on the specific purpose of the collection. Take control and choose the display that best suits your needs, putting the power in your hands.
- Restore
We have added a ‘recently deleted’ overview in the DAM for assets and categories, as well as for Locations and Products. The comprehensive overview displays all recently deleted items for the past 30 days and offers a direct option for restoration.
- Expiry Overview
A new expiry overview makes it simple to keep track of expiration dates. You can manage assets that are expiring soon or have already expired. It’s never been easier to stay on top of expiration dates for things such as image rights or campaigns.
That concludes the Q2 Release Notes! These notes summarize the most important changes made to our platform over the past three months. For a comprehensive list of new features, updates, and bug fixes, refer to our Changelog.
