Welcome to Marvia’s quarterly update on the most significant new features and updates in our platform. In this edition of the Release Notes, we’ll introduce the slider element, user-filled templates in Collections, and more.

 

Slider Element ⬅️➡️

We have introduced a versatile slider element that can be added to any page, offering an engaging way to showcase new items, campaigns, and information with visuals. 

Customize the slider's appearance with various design options, including full width, specific height, and interval timing, to suit different use cases.

Each slide can feature a photo or animation, complemented by a flexible content editor. This allows you to add text freely, incorporate DNA for personalization, split content into multiple columns, align it with visuals, and more.

Enhance targeting by displaying slides to specific groups and locations based on permissions. You can also schedule slides to appear within defined timeframes using publication and expiration dates.

Add User-Created Templates to Collections 📑

Showcase and share user-created designs with ease! We've introduced the ability to add completed templates to collections, making it simple for users to access and utilize these designs. 

This feature opens up a world of possibilities:

  • Create an inspiration gallery: highlight the best designs from each month, inspiring others and showcasing creativity.
  • Streamline design processes: generate multiple versions of a single template, allowing users to start with the perfect foundation for their needs.
  • Build a best practices hub: curate a collection of exemplary designs, enabling users to learn and build upon successful examples.
  • Facilitate collaboration: allow users to share their results, fostering a community of creativity and knowledge-sharing. 

By adding user-created templates to collections, you're not just organizing content – you're creating a dynamic resource that enhances productivity, creativity, and collaboration across your organization.

Short Updates 

Search Options  🔍

We've enhanced one of our platform's most critical features: the search functionality. Here are the exciting improvements: 

  • Instant preview: as you type, the top search result is now display instantly, saving you time and effort.
  • Customizable search bar: admins can now tailor the search experience to their needs:
    • Adjust the size and position of the search bar
    • Customize the placeholder text to guide users

These upgrades make finding what you need faster and more intuitive, streamlining your workflow and boosting productivity.

Column Management  📊

We've streamlined column management in the Admin interface, offering you more control and flexibility:

  • Easier layout customization: quickly adjust overview tables to display the information that matters most to you.
  • Personalized settings: your column preferences are now saved per admin account in the cloud, ensuring your personalized view is always available.
  • Consistent experience: access your customized layouts from any device, anytime.

Notifications 🔔

We've introduced notifications to the Admin interface. This new addition keeps you informed and empowered with alerts about new platform capabilities, important notices that could impact your workflow, and pro tips to help you unlock the full potential of our platform.
